Ryanair reports 40% profit growth as fare increases and new aircraft boost outlook

Ryanair, Europe’s largest budget airline, saw pre-tax profits rise to €2.89bn and revenues up 13% to €9.82bn for the first half. The carrier raised its annual passenger forecast to 207mn, citing strong demand and early Boeing deliveries.
