Sainsbury’s Trials iPad Trolley

Sainsbury’s is testing a shopping trolley with an inbuilt iPad dock in its branch in Cromwell Road in Kensington, West London. The trolley comes complete with a tilting iPad holder and speakers with an onboard battery and self-charging solar panel, all developed by Sky. If the trial is successful, the trolleys will be introduced across the UK.
