Sales increase at Primark

Budget retailer Primark has increased its annual sales following an expansion of almost one million sq ft of selling space over the latest financial year. Sales increased 8% to £5.35bn, up from £4.95bn last year. Operating and turnover profits declined, however, in response to currency and commodity challenges.
