Signet Announces Zale Acquisition

Signet, the US-based parent company of H Samuel and Ernest Jones in the UK, is set to acquire smaller US-rival Zale Corporation in a deal worth US$690m. Alongside Kay Jewelers, Signet’s presence in the US jewellery market will be strengthened considerably.
