Singapore Airlines offers Tiger Airways buyback

Singapore Airlines has opened an offer to buy back un-owned shares in its low-cost subsidiary Tiger Airways. The offer represents a premium of around 35% on share prices, as the carrier group seeks to delist and privatise Tiger Airways. Singapore Airlines would own more than 90% at the close of the offer, compared to 55.8% presently.
