Sony trims profit expectations as games business falters

The technology giant has downgraded its profit forecast after a weak first quarter for its PlayStation unit, which has seen game software sales fall by 26%. Sony blamed the slowdown on the easing of Covid-19 curbs, which dampened stay-at-home gaming.
