Speculation Grows That Home Retail Group Will Acquire Habitat

Discussions earlier this month centred around selling Habitat-branded products in Homebase stores, but it is now thought that the Home Retail Group is considering acquiring the furniture chain. Habitat was bought by retail restructuring firm Hilco at the end of 2009.
