Retail tycoon Sir Tom Hunter has sold an 80% stake in two of his fashion businesses to Sports Direct. He has retained a 20% shareholding and will remain chairman of each company. The deal, worth £7m, will give Sports Direct control over USC's 38 stores and Cruise Clothing's 10 UK outlets.
