The Scottish footwear chain has been bought by the US retail group Genesco, in a deal worth £125m. Schuh's 2,827 staff will share a bonus of £37.3m, based on their salary and length of service at the retailer, with an additional £7m from the transaction going towards a newly established charitable foundation, the Schuh Trust.
