The British supermarket chain has reported a 10% rise in annual operating profit to £738m. In an increased commitment to sustainable and responsible sourcing of produce, the chain has also become the world's largest retailer of Fairtrade goods by value, with 25% of all Fairtrade sales in the UK taking place in Sainsbury's stores.
