Tesco Install Turbines At Distribution Centres

The supermarket chain has installed four large wind turbines in two locations in the UK, which it hopes will provide around a fifth of the energy needed for both the distribution centres. The turbines will reduce the equivalent of 3,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, in the latest development in the retailer’s bid to become carbon neutral by 2050.
