TJX beats expectations as off-price model attracts cautious shoppers

TJX, parent of TJ Maxx and Marshalls, posted Q3 revenue of $14.4bn and raised its full-year guidance. Strong demand for discounted goods helped secure the results, and CEO Ernie Herrman also noted a strong start to the current quarter.
