Travel rebound sees Marriott’s trading beat expectations in Q2

The US hospitality giant has seen revenues surge 70% year-on-year to $5.34bn in the second quarter, above analysts’ forecasts of $4.92bn. Net income also grew to $678m from $422m, driven by rising demand for leisure travel.
