Travel recovery drives WHSmith’s sales

The convenience retailer has seen its revenues rise 104% from 2019 levels in the 15 weeks to 11 June, with its travel arm hitting 107% growth. WHSmith attributes the result to travel rebound and shoppers spending more at airports and train stations.
