Unilever Edges Closer To Acquisition Of Kalina

The consumer products giant is close to securing the acquisition of Russian cosmetics company Kalina. Kalina is expected to fetch up to US$850m. Earlier this year, Unilever paid US$3.7bn for American hair care products maker Alberto Culver.
