Walmart looks to sell Suburbia

Walmart’s Mexican division, Walmex, has put department store chain Suburbia on sale to focus more on its supermarket format. Suburbia, which has 117 stores, could reach values ranging from US$1.1bn to US$1.6bn, and has received interest in an acquisition from rival chain Liverpool.
