Warmer weather dampens gravy and soup sales but sweet products remain strong for Premier Foods

Premier Foods saw Q1 sales rise marginally by 0.3% to £240m, impacted by lower demand for gravy, stock and soup due to warm weather. The owner of Mr Kipling kept its full-year profit forecast unchanged amid tough comparables.
