Waymo wins California approval to widen driverless service across major regions

The DMV has cleared Waymo to test and deploy fully autonomous vehicles across more of California. Coverage now spans most of the Bay Area, including Napa and Sacramento, and stretches in Southern California from Santa Clarita to San Diego.
