WhatsApp unveils $1m grant to tackle misinformation about coronavirus

The Facebook-owned messaging service is donating $1m to a coronavirus-focused fact checking service. Additionally, WhatsApp has announced the launch of the WhatsApp Coronavirus Information Hub, in partnership with WHO, to offer guidance on the crisis.
