Amaluna: the ultimate piece of escapism

The newest Cirque de Soleil’s show returned to the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday to mark the company’s 20th anniversary a the venue. The 2hr 15m performance is inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and follows the romance between Miranda on Romeo on the island Amaluna, title of the show. The majority of the cast is composed by female acrobats in a tribute to the work and voice of women. You can buy tickets here, the last staging is on 14th February.
