Carlos Acosta presents his classical selection at the London Coliseum

Top dancer, choreographer and writer, Carlo Acosta is celebrating his twentysix year career with a show at the London Coliseum from 8th to 13th December 2015. Know internationally for working in some of the greatest ballet companies, he is going to retire at the age of 42 to open his own ballet school in hometown Cuba, as explained in BBC 2’s documentary ‘imagine…’ Cuba Calls. He recently readapted the Carmen for the Royal Opera House and once more demonstrated his ability to convey emotions not only as dancer but also as choreographer. In A Classical selection, which will be back to the UK in May 2016, he performs his favourite repertoire, including Balanchine’s Agon, of which the extraordinary performance is celebrated in this review by The Telegraph.
