Retailers such as Wm Morrison, J Sainsbury and the Co-Operative Group are to look over Iceland Foods if the sale of a majority stake in the chain triggers an auction for the supermarket's entire estate. Iceland Foods would be valued at between £1.7bn and £2bn by the process.
