Pizza GoGo reports sales and profit improvement The takeaway pizza business, which has 130 branches predominantly in the south east of England, has posted a strong set of results for the year to 31 May 2023. Turnover was up to £41.3m, despite a challenging commercial backdrop. Read more.
Same stores sales up 35% at Joe & The Juice The juice and cafe-bar brand has reported a 35% uptick in same-store sales and 42% year-on-year growth for 2023. The chain, which has 360 locations across 19 countries, has also halved its net losses and is on track for profitable growth. Read more.
Singapore Airlines reports record profit Singapore Airlines has said that supply chain issues and inflationary pressures continue to pose challenges. Despite this, the company has reported record annual profit as high travel demand drove heightened passenger revenue. Read more.
easyJet posts interim results The value-focused retailer has reported a headline pre-tax loss of £350m for the six months to the end of March, down from £411m in the same period last year. Revenue rose to £3.27bn, up from £2.69bn. Read more.
Travel operator TUI reports strong second quarter The German business, Europe's largest tour operator, has narrowed its operating losses in the January - March period to €189m, thanks to a 16% rise in revenue to a record €3.6bn. Read more.
Compass nudges up full-year forecasts The world's biggest contract catering business has upgraded its expectations for the full financial year and reported a strong set of interim results. Operating profit in the six months to the end of March rose 18.7% to $1.47bn, as revenue improved 11%. Read more.
