Associated British Foods raises offer to increase stake in Illovo Sugar

The new offer, which values the South African company at nearly US$760m, comes out to 25 rand per share, an increase over the 20 rand per share offered in February. AB Foods already owns sugar producers in the UK, Spain and China.
