Elon Musk acquires multibillion-dollar stake in Twitter

The South African-born entrepreneur, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has acquired a 9.2% stake in Twitter, worth approximately $2.89bn. The transaction makes him the social network's biggest shareholder.
