Following the sale of its Waterstone's chain earlier this year, the CD and DVD retailer has announced that it is to increase its offering to include MP3 players and tablet computers. It is hoped that by focusing on high-growth technology, HMV will offset the structural decline in sales of DVDs and CDs.
