Hotel Chocolat posts a statutory loss with increasing sales

Hotel Chocolat saw a statutory loss of £9.4m last year compared to a profit of £3.7m the previous year due to rising operation costs in the US and the impairment of loans. However, sales rose 37% over the year to £226m.
