Microsoft to invest $2.9bn in AI infrastructure in Japan

The technology giant has announced plans to invest $2.9bn over two years to expand its cloud and AI infrastructure in Japan, the latest in a series of overseas expansions. The move is the company's largest investment in Japan to date.
