M&S Launches Second Stage Of Better Cotton Project

The ‘Better Cotton’ project, which was first launched by Marks & Spencer as part of its Plan A eco initiative in 2009, has reached its second stage. In an extension of the first phase, up to 20,000 cotton farmers will lower the use of pesticides and water in production and increase profitability, providing M&S with more sustainable cotton.
